Michaela Steiger, born 1964 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, spent her school years in Munich and went to New York after graduation.
There she completed her acting studies and took courses at the Art Students League.
Since then, in addition to her profession as an actress (she currently plays at the Residenztheater Munich, the Münchner Kammerspiele and the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus), she is constantly dedicated to painting.
