Bei der Veranstaltung am 9. Oktober bei arToxin präsentiert Sharp die Uraufführung von STELLA NERA.

For the Oct. 9 event at arToxin, Sharp will present the premiere performance of STELLA NERA.
The piece was created in 2024.
Stella Nera is both retinal art and a graphic score for any instruments. Created in January of 2024 and never performed, Stella Nera makes use of Sharp’s personal strategies for processing musical notation to emphasize the synaesthetic aspect in the realization of such a score.
The print itself is a limited edition of 12 It is 11″x17″ in size and printed on 80lb card stock.
Prints will be available at the event.

Stella Nera ist sowohl visuelle Kunst als auch eine grafische Partitur für beliebige Instrumente. Das im Januar 2024 entstandene und bislang noch nicht aufgeführte Werk nutzt Sharps persönliche Strategien der Notation, um bei der Umsetzung der Partitur den synästhetischen Aspekt hervorzuheben.
Der Druck erscheint in einer limitierten Auflage von 12 Exemplaren; er hat das Format 11 x 17 Zoll und ist auf 80-Pfund-Karton gedruckt.
Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung am 9. Oktober bei adToxin wird Sharp die Uraufführung von Stella Nera präsentieren.
